Author Biography
Having seen members in her immediate and extended family deal with incurable diseases like Leukemia and Hodgkin’s lymphoma, Melinda Baxter wanted to find out more about these specific diseases and possibly be able to suggest some alternate methods of treatment. With that as her main focus and with the encouragement of her mother she started to do her research. Melinda did learn quite a bit but was a bit dismayed with all the books that she had to read to really find out about one disease. This is when she got the idea of creating a book that, though it would be more concise, it would give the reader a better understanding of what the diseases were and how they can be combated.
